Die normale Dauerbetriebstemperatur f\u00fcr PTFE (Fluorkohlenstofffaser\/Polytetrafluorethylen) betr\u00e4gt 260 \u00b0C und die momentane H\u00f6chsttemperatur betr\u00e4gt 280 \u00b0C. Es wird im Allgemeinen unter rauen chemischen Bedingungen und hohen Temperaturen eingesetzt. Allgemeines Einsatzgebiet sind Kohlekraftwerke, Zementfabriken, M\u00fcllverbrennungsanlagen und Gie\u00dfereien. Es verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber eine hervorragende chemische Best\u00e4ndigkeit und eine hervorragende Abriebfestigkeit. Aufgrund der hohen Kosten wird PTFE in der Regel dann eingesetzt, wenn andere Optionen ung\u00fcnstig sind.
